Pistol - Your standard handgun. It’s nothing spectacular, but it’s killer on the headshots. Burn the ammo and pitch it.

Submachine Gun (SMG) - A great weapon alone, lethal when dual-weilded. You can dish out a lot of hurt with a pair of SMG’s.

Assault Rifle - Basic rifle. No zoom, but not to be underestimated.

Battle Rifle - Decent at close range, and a good sniper thanks to the zoom. Not much ammo capacity, though.

Shotgun - Wicked in close quarters, but good for nothing at long range. It’s the anti-sniper weapon.

Sniper Rifle - Useless at close range, but unbeatable for long shots.

Rocket Launcher - Ordinarily this thing dishes a one-hit kill. Save it for the big boys.

Spartan Laser - Five shots only and it requires a charge, but it’s lethal.

In my humble opinion, the best USNC weapon in the game is the Battle rifle. It’s a great all-purpose weapon, and the zoom function improves long-range accuracy and makes it sort of a makeshift sniper rifle in a pinch. It’s good for most situations, in other words, and it’s only drawback is the ammo capacity.

The SMG is a close second, especially if you’re dual-wielding, for sheer volume of fire and ammo capacity. If it’s your style to make swiss-cheese out of everything that moves, then this is your best bet.

Here are a few starter tips for those just getting into the fray. 

Duck and cover - When you’re in the red, get behind something.  Basic tactics again, and forget the shield.  It’ll save your backside more often than not. 

Eyes on the ammo - Always, I repeat, always keep an eye on how much ammo you’ve got.  Nothing beats a good ‘ol click when you’ve got that perfect headshot lined up. 

Headshots, headshots, headshots - Anybody worth their salt in a shooter knows this.  Headshots hurt more, so use ‘em! 

Save the Grunts for last - that means go for the leader, usually a Brute, so that the Grunts become demoralized. 

Lost? - If you can’t seem to progress in a level, then back it up.  Backtrack through the level and see what you’ve missed. 

Burn your handgun ammo first - Although it’s lethal for a good, close range headshot the ammo for the handgun is scarce.  Run through it and pitch it early.

 Best guns? - For the majority of the game, the battle rifle and carbine are the best, though the SMG is pretty damned nice itself. 

Don’t conserve grenades - Even though you only get a pair of each type, there are plenty to go around in most levels.  If you think you need it, go for it.

 Vehicles - The first major thing to keep in mind with vehicles is that you should drive.  The AI sucks behind the wheel, big time.

Brutes - You have to remove their armor before you can bring them down. Stick to head shots to rack up the damage. They’re not too tough, and fairly common.

Jackals - They’ll be behind a shield most times, so aim for the legs or the openings in the sides to bring them down.

Drones - They don’t pop up too often, but they’re airborne and will swarm you. Drop them quickly before you wind up with a whole mess of them on you.

Hunters - These are the big boys. A rocket in the back is the best way to drop them, or a mess of other weapons. Just don’t go at them from the front, always get behind them.

Flood - These little buggers are nothing initially, just a little scurrying creature that’ll deal small amounts of damage. Let them get a hold of a dead body, however, and you’ve got a problem on your hands. Try to stop them before they pull that off.

Scarab - There are only four of these in game (thankfully), and what you need to do is aim for the legs until they collapse. Then, hop up on their back and shoot your way through to the power source to shut them down for good. If you’re in a vehicle or have a good vantage point, you can drop the power source from above without worrying about the legs.

Skull Location:

The IWHBYD Skull has been found! After countless hours from the Halo3Planet Community, we finally present you with the location of the final skull, the IWHBYD Skull!

The Skull is located in the level, “The Covenant”. After defeating the Scarabs, and going inside, get to the location with all 7 Ring Holograms. You must jump through the rings in a specific order. That order is as follows:

These rings also produce the notes:

After jumping through them in this sequence, you will be awarded the “I Would Have Been Your Daddy Skull”. It will be right next to the bridge that brings you over to the Prophet of Truth.

NOTE: YOU MAY NEED TO KILL THE PROPHET OF TRUTH, AND THE FLOOD BEFORE DOING THE RING JUMPS!

Sniper Rifle - Less auto aim than in the beta, much harder to pull off a headshot. Two shots to the body and you won’t get a sniper medal, you will only get a medal for headshots.

Assault Rifle - Seems toned down from the beta, have to spray for a lifetime for it to kill someone

Spartan Laser - Auto aim toned down, alot harder to kill someone but still worth picking up.

Pistol - 5 Shot kill, slow rate of fire.

I wasn’t impressed with the amount of small, arena type maps but I am impressed with the following:

Guardian - A little bit like Lockout, but in other aspects nothing like it. Good small map but takes a bit of time to memorize all the places on it.

Construct - My favuorite map, a masterpeice!

Narrows - Another great map, would be good for MLG 4 v 4, fro the screenshots I wasnt really impressed but when I tried it I was amazed, brilliant map.

Isolation - A bit dissapointed with this as I was expecting better, it’s just a backwash without the fog.

Either way, Microsoft found out that it was him, and banned him from Xbox LIVE… until the year 10,000!
